Bake It Till You Make It

Listen up, kitchen warriors! There's a secret ingredient that you can find in all the best kitchens, all the best chefs are using it, and for sure your mom and grandma used it in all your favorite dishes… that ingredient is old-fashioned persistence. Those Instagram-worthy croissants, that tres leches you saw on TikTok… They're not just butter, flour and sugar - they're the result of hours practice, dozens of tweaked recipes and probably even a little sweat, and tears!

So it’s time to embrace my new kitchen mantra: "Bake it till you make it!"

Let's talk about that crusty artisan bread you've been dreaming of. That is not that baker's first rodeo. They have overcooked, undercooked and strait up burnt a loaf or two before that video was made. Each loaf is a delicious science experiment. Too dense? Adjust your hydration. Crust like a rock? Play with your oven temperature. A few loaves later, you'll be slicing into bread that would make your local baker jealous.

Remember, every master baker or chef started as a novice. They've all had their share of kitchen disasters and dinner misses. What sets them apart is their willingness to keep flouring that countertop, firing up that oven and trying again.

So readers,
